2003 - Present Community Liaison for NorthStar Churches Network, An Association of 170 Baptist Churches in Northern Virginia.

1978 - 2002 Staff Minister at Columbia Baptist Church, Falls Church, VA. with responsibilities of developing church ministries to families and individuals within Northern Virginia who experienced economic trauma, such as hunger and homelessness.  During early 1980s encouraged development of Fairfax County - Bailey's Crossroads Shelter for Homeless individuals who experienced homelessness.

Subsequent years:   

Encouraged the establishment of Fairfax County- Bailey's Crossroads Community Shelter.

Assisted with the development of Council of Government - Homeless Services Planning Committee and Fairfax County Council On Homelessness while serving on Virginia Coalition On Homelessness Board.

Assisted with the development of Fairfax County Faith Communities In Action on Executive Committee to Housing and Hunger issues.

Presently serve on Boards and Committees:

            CAFB and Federation of Virginia Food Banks Board

            Fairfax County - Planning to End Homelessness In Ten Years
