Professional Experience:
Linda Keene Solomon is a Principal with Deloitte Consulting, the consulting arm of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the world's largest professional services firms. She is the Office Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting's Federal Government practice and has provided management and information technology consulting advice and services for over 15 years to both public sector and private sector organizations. Linda has also performed the role of Office Managing Director for Deloitte's Federal practice. In this role, she is responsible for human resources and office operations in three Deloitte Federal locations.

In her role today as Account Partner for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Linda is responsible for providing professional services to DHS to help it achieve its homeland security mission and objectives. Ms. Solomon has been a Principal for eight years.  Before joining Deloitte Consulting, she worked for several years at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio. At Procter & Gamble, Linda worked as a Manufacturing Systems Project Manager for Procter & Gamble. She had responsibility for improving logistics and manufacturing planning processes and systems.

Education and Professional Associations:
Ms. Solomon graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a MBA in Finance and was inducted into the Phi Beta Sigma Society for her academic achievements. She performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a degree in computer mathematics and a minor in French. Throughout her career, Ms. Solomon has been the recipient of many awards, including the Women in Technology Leadership award and the Harlem YWCA Black Achiever's award. Linda is a member of ITAA, National Black MBA Association, and actively participates in the Council for Excellence in Government's homeland security initiatives and events.

Community Impact:
Outside of her client work, Linda has dedicated a significant portion of her time towards community service both as a representative of Deloitte and as an individual residing in the Washington, D.C. area where she was born and raised. In the community service area, Linda was an active board member of the Deloitte Consulting IMPACT and Foundation boards. In her role as board member for both of these organizations, Linda set direction for Deloitte on firm-wide community service and charitable donations programs, respectively.

For the past three years, Ms. Solomon was also an active board member of M/DALC, a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area focused on adult literacy. She led the community relations subcommittee and recently planned and managed the execution of an Adult Literacy Fair held in five locations around the Washington, DC area.

Today, Ms. Solomon is an active member of Holy Comforter Church, and is a board member of the National Cathedral School Alumnae board. Through both of these positions she gets directly involved in helping members of the Washington, DC community achieve their goals.

Ms. Solomon developed a passion for "diversity" early in her career. She has been an advocate at Deloitte for utilizing diverse talent to create the best solutions for the firm's clients. Linda has dedicated a significant portion of her time towards helping Deloitte with both its diversity program. Linda worked directly with Deloitte Consulting executive leadership to establish a formal diversity program across the consulting firm, and continues to play an active role in driving the program forward today.
